Scream 7 Drops New Legacy Spot and Poster as Sidney’s Story Returns
Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group are kicking the Scream 7 rollout into gear with two new pieces of promo, a “legacy” TV spot that looks back across the franchise and a new poster that frames Sidney Prescott’s next fight.
The legacy spot leans into three decades of franchise nostalgia, racing through Ghostface’s history and flashing back to 1996 as it tracks how Sidney’s life has been shaped by the mask, the voice, and the carnage. It then snaps back to the present, where Sidney has built something quieter, only for Ghostface to follow her there. And this time, the danger hits closest to home, with her daughter becoming the next target.
The generational angle is definitely part of the hook. The spot points out that Sidney’s daughter is now the same age Sidney was when the original killings began, turning the story into a reflection of where it all started and setting up another chapter centered on the Prescott family. The poster only reinforces that same idea with a blunt tagline, “Fear Hits Home!”
Behind the camera, Scream 7 brings franchise creator Kevin Williamson back in a major way, with Williamson directing this chapter. The film is produced by William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein, with the story credited to Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, and the screenplay by Williamson and Busick.
Campbell returns alongside Courteney Cox, with Isabel May stepping into the spotlight as Sidney’s daughter. The ensemble also includes Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons, and Mark Consuelos.
Scream 7 opens exclusively in theaters on February 27, 2026.
