Attack on Titan 3 Announced by Koei Tecmo and Omega Force

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force are bringing players back into the fight for humanity with Attack on Titan 3, a new action game based on Hajime Isayama’s blockbuster manga and anime series. Revealed on June 5, 2026, the game is being positioned as the culmination of Omega Force’s Attack on Titan action series, giving fans a chance to experience the story from its Survey Corps beginnings through its dramatic conclusion.

The reveal also marks the return of a franchise that has been away from consoles for several years. Koei Tecmo confirmed that Attack on Titan 3 is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, with the official site listing the game as a single-player action title.

The Full Attack on Titan Story Comes to Life

According to Koei Tecmo, Attack on Titan 3 will let players move through the larger arc of the series while facing the giant humanoid threats that define its dark fantasy world. The game will also include combat against the Nine Titans, along with brand-new story content designed to expand character and lore details.

That full-story approach obviously gives the new game a clear draw for longtime fans. Earlier Attack on Titan titles captured the thrill of omni-directional mobility gear and Titan-slaying battles, but Attack on Titan 3 is being presented as a more complete adaptation of the saga. Koei Tecmo is also promising upgrades and improvements to the omni-directional mobility gear battle system, with more acrobatic and intense fights meant to capture the terror, speed, and scale of the anime’s biggest conflicts.

The announcement arrived with a first reveal trailer, giving fans an early look at the upcoming title. And it’s also being said that more details will be revealed during an official worldwide livestream on July 1, 2026, featuring Yui Ishikawa, the Japanese voice of Mikasa, and Shiori Mikami, the Japanese voice of Krista. Fans attending Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles will also get an early look at the game, with the latest trailer set to be shown at AmiAmi’s exhibitor booth during the event.

For now, Koei Tecmo has not announced a release date, but Attack on Titan 3 is officially on the way for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
