The spinoff will arrive immediately after Reacher Season Four, extending Lee Child’s universe through the eyes of one of its most enduring characters. Season Four launches with its first three episodes on Wednesday, August 12, before continuing weekly through its September 16 finale—the same day the complete first season of Neagley lands on Prime Video.
Sten reprises her role as Frances Neagley, a Chicago private investigator and former member of the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit, where she served alongside Alan Ritchson’s Jack Reacher. Her new series begins when a beloved friend from her past dies in what appears to be a suspicious accident, setting Neagley on a path to find out what really happened.
Drawing on the skills and instincts she sharpened with the 110th, Neagley follows the case into increasingly dangerous territory. As the mystery deepens, she finds herself confronting a larger threat, one that puts her own sense of justice to the test.
Although the series shifts the spotlight away from Reacher, Ritchson will guest star as Jack Reacher, maintaining a direct connection between the two shows. The cast also includes Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones as Keno, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow, and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole.
Based on Child’s novels, Neagley is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios. Reacher developer Nick Santora created the spinoff with fellow executive producer and co-showrunner Nicholas Wootton, with Child, Don Granger, Sam Hill, Adam Higgs, and Lisa Kussner also serving as executive producers.
By releasing its entire first season after the Reacher finale, Neagley gives the franchise a clean handoff while allowing Frances Neagley to lead a mystery of her own.
