Angela Murray is the Undisputed MVP of Big Brother 26

While Big Brother has always offered audiences an array of personalities, Angela Murray has undoubtedly cemented her place as the MVP of Big Brother 26. Though the game is still very muich active, her rollercoaster journey through the house has been nothing short of eventful, filled with drama, strategy, and sheer entertainment. Here’s why Queen Angela stands out as the most valuable player of this season.

Angela Murray, Big Brother 26 | CBS

One of the Most Entertaining Big Brother Players Ever

Despite what Big Brother Facebook fans might believe (Twitter gets it), Angela’s presence in the Big Brother house has been a constant source of entertainment. For starters, her somewhat sensible outbursts at fellow houseguest Matt Hardeman instantly kicked off the season with chaos. Whether it was calling him “Crazy Eyes” and making faces, or accusing him of being a “disrespectful brat,” Angela’s confrontations were both shocking and hilarious. It takes guts to clash in the Big Brother house, and after darker fights in seasons like BB9 or BB14, this is the exact level of petty we deserve.

Furthermore, her ability to clock Lisa Weintraub with transparent commentary and meme-worthy mockery added to her reputation as someone who isn’t afraid to keep things real. Though, most important of all, Angela’s knack for using random moments to remind everyone how Quinn Martin is a snake has taken her pettiness to new heights (like during Tucker’s infamous Veto meeting). And again, it’s not that deep, so take a breath Angela haters!

This very unpredictability and her larger-than-life persona have made her one of the most memorable contestants in Big Brother history. A new reality TV icon!

Big Brother Paranoia Personified

Angela is quite honestly the epitome of Big Brother paranoia. From the moment she stepped into the house, she was in constant game mode — and winning a first Head of Household competition made that fast transition nearly impossible to avoid.

Her sleuthing around the house, making assumptions about alliances, (which kind of saved her game this week tbh), and turning on over-stretched allies have showcased her relentless drive to stay ahead. Angela’s paranoia was not just a quirk; it was a survival mechanism. She was always on the lookout for potential threats and never hesitated to act on her suspicions — which is exactly why she’s not just your typical nomination placeholder. A little paranoia is a Big Brother staple!

Her Skillset is Consistently Underestimated

Angela’s ability to escape eviction week after week is a testament to her strategic prowess — persuading her fellow houseguests that she is not a threat, even when she clearly is. What makes it funnier is the notion that everyone pretends like they aren’t steered by her words, but we’ve genuinely watched it change events in real time.

Her made-up alliance of five that created paranoia with Chelsie this week, her carefully curating relationship with Leah to get saved with the Veto, and inviting herself into an alliance for temporary safety — Angela obviously has some sort of effect on houseguests that others couldn’t begin to fathom. And if that isn’t enough to get her the big win, we know that she’s also capable of winning competitions, so her resume is more impressive than the house might actually realize at this moment. Just like BB winners Rachel Reilly and Taylor Hale who had very similar dynamics with their respective cast.

Angela Army Rise

As the season progresses, it will be fascinating to see how Angela continues to navigate the game. Whether she ultimately wins or not (obviously we’d prefer that she takes the win), her impact on Big Brother 26 is undeniable. Angela Murray is a force to be reckoned with, and her journey is a testament to the unpredictable and thrilling nature of Big Brother.

Big Brother airs weekly on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday via CBS and the next day on Paramount+.
