ONE PIECE Returns to Crunchyroll on April 5 With the Start of the Elbaph Arc
Toei Animation and Crunchyroll have confirmed that ONE PIECE is set to return to Crunchyroll simulcast on April 5, 2026, launching the anime’s next major chapter with the start of the highly anticipated Elbaph Arc.
Crunchyroll also shared an update for dub viewers: the platform will begin rolling out the final Egghead Arc English dub batch starting March 24, 2026, covering Episodes 1144–1155. Once that drop begins, the full Egghead Arc will be available on Crunchyroll in English dub. Both the Elbaph Arc simulcast and the final Egghead dub batch will also stream on Crunchyroll across multiple territories, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America, per the official announcement.
As for where the story is headed next, the official setup places Elbaph immediately after the crew’s escape from Egghead. According to Crunchyroll’s synopsis, after a daring getaway from the “Future Island” Egghead, the Straw Hat crew sets a new course and arrives at Elbaph, the long-awaited Land of Giants, alongside the Giant Warrior Pirates. The arc promises fresh run-ins with Giants and the kind of reunions fans have been waiting years to see, as the Straw Hats step into what Crunchyroll teases as a “colossal” new chapter. Elbaph’s arrival is also notable because it has been one of the most mythic destinations in ONE PIECE lore for a long time, tied to the series’ Giant mythology and the Straw Hats’ wider endgame momentum.
With that in mind, the arc is definitely positioning itself to be a big moment for the ONE PIECE story when it returns in April.
