Percy Jackson and the Olympians Renewed for Season 3 Ahead of Season 2 Premiere

Disney+ has ignited excitement among demigod fans by officially renewing Percy Jackson and the Olympians for a third season, even before the highly anticipated second season airs. This early renewal underscores Disney's confidence in the series and its commitment to adapting Rick Riordan's beloved book series.  And from what’s been reported, it’s one of their biggest hits so far—so it only makes sense!

The announcement confirms that Season 3 will be based on "The Titan's Curse," the third installment in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series. This news has been met with enthusiasm, especially as it means that beloved characters such as the Hunters of Artemis and Nico di Angelo will be brought to life on screen.  But before we get ahead of ourselves, here’s what we know so far.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 Cast and Plot Details

Season 2 will adapt "The Sea of Monsters," where Percy and his friends embark on a perilous quest to rescue Grover from the Cyclops, Polyphemus. The core cast, including Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, and Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, are all poised to return.  

As of now, production on season 2 has been completed, with the production team now focused on post-production—and the series is currently scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in December 2025.
