JISOO and ZAYN Link Up For The Cinematic Single "EYES CLOSED"
JISOO and ZAYN have joined forces for a new duet, “EYES CLOSED,” out today via Warner Records. The cross-continental pairing finds the BLACKPINK star and the British singer trading verses about stepping into a fresh romance and choosing not to be defined by what came before. Built on airy keys, spare acoustic guitar, and a low, pulsing synth bed, the perfectly balanced track swells toward a widescreen hook where both voices meet and resolve. The refrain centers on the idea of falling for someone “with our eyes closed,” a mantra about cutting ties with past baggage and letting the future speak for itself.
The collaboration lands amid a busy stretch for both artists. JISOO is currently lighting up stadiums on BLACKPINK’s Deadline World Tour, which continues through Asia into early 2026. Earlier this year she released AMORTAGE, a four-track mini album that mapped the different seasons of love through glossy pop and club-leaning cuts like “earthquake” and “Your Love.” The project debuted at No. 1 in South Korea and has since amassed hundreds of millions of streams, further cementing her as a solo force beyond the group’s global dominance.
ZAYN, meanwhile, is gearing up for a milestone of his own: a debut Las Vegas run at Dolby Live at Park MGM beginning January 2026. It follows ROOM UNDER THE STAIRS, his candid 2024 studio album, and a first-ever solo tour across the U.S., U.K., and Mexico. His résumé already includes a record-setting No. 1 bow on both the U.K. and U.S. charts with Mind of Mine and a worldwide smash in “PILLOWTALK,” alongside recent forays into gaming with an original song for Borderlands 4.
Now that they’ve joined forces, it’s evident that their blend—her crystalline tone against his velvet rasp—offers listeners tension and tenacity, turning a simple proposition into something cinematic. It’s a sleek, radio-ready meeting of two distinct pop worlds that plays to each artist’s strengths: intimacy, polish, and a chorus built to echo.
