Thunderbolts* Drops a New Clip Featuring Yelena
The MCU just gifted us the “Something Wrong” clip from Thunderbolts*, and it’s got us hyped for the May 2, 2025, release! Starring Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, this teaser is serving drama, action, and peak antihero energy.
The clip dives deep into Yelena’s headspace, and whew, it’s messy! She’s brooding on a skyscraper, monologuing about a “dark emptiness” and a “void” she’s felt since her sister Natasha’s death. But then—plot twist—she shrugs it off with a sassy, “Or maybe I’m just bored,” before leaping off the building like the badass she is. As expected, fans are eating it up, with that gritty, emotional MCU flavor, hinting that Yelena’s leading this ragtag crew of misfits.
Speaking of the crew, Thunderbolts* unites antiheroes like Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), and John Walker (Wyatt Russell), all caught in a deadly trap by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). This clip, likely an early moment in the film, sets the tone for a mission forcing them to face their messy pasts.
Additionally, with colorful new posters and a featurette showing Pugh’s real-life skyscraper stunt (off Malaysia’s Merdeka 118, no less!), Thunderbolts* is shaping up to be a bold MCU shake-up. Stream the clip below and check out the film when it hits theaters in May.
