Send Help Trailer Strands Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien on a Nightmare Island

20th Century Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Send Help, a darkly comedic survival horror from director Sam Raimi that pairs Rachel McAdams with Dylan O’Brien as combative coworkers forced to survive together after a plane crash.

The film’s official trailer sketches the office dynamic before the disaster: McAdams’ Linda Liddle is underestimated and micromanaged by O’Brien’s Bradley Preston, a merger-obsessed boss who treats her like an assistant more than a partner. After their flight goes down, the power balance flips. Linda’s practical instincts and grit kick in while Bradley flails—and then manipulates—on an island that quickly turns hostile. Raimi pitches the tone as an “unsettling black comedy,” and the footage backs it up through sharp barbs that give way to blood-streaked standoffs, booby-traps, and a game of psychological brinkmanship that hints at Misery-meets-Cast Away by way of office politics.

In essence, Send Help positions McAdams as a bloodied, resourceful underdog and O’Brien as the boss-from-hell you’re happy to watch sweat. If the feature sustains the trailer’s snap and sting, Raimi may have found a fresh sandbox for his signature blend of chaos and cackling dread. Watch the trailer below, and make sure to check it out in U.S. theaters on January 30, 2026, with a U.K./Ireland rollout on February 6, 2026.
