As the spooky season approaches, Hulu is set to premiere a chilling new horror film titled Mr. Crocket next month. And based on the recently unveiled trailer, this film promises to be a standout in the Huluween lineup, blending nostalgia with terror in a unique and unsettling way.

Plot Overview

Mr. Crocket transports viewers back to 1993, when a seemingly innocent children’s show host, Mr. Crocket, emerges from television screens to kidnap children and brutally murder their parents. The story centers on a determined mother, who embarks on a perilous journey to rescue her son from the clutches of this demonic entertainer.

Cast and Crew

The film boasts a talented cast, including Elvis Nolasco as the sinister Mr. Crockett, Jerrika Hinton as the mother mentioned above, Ayden Gavin as Major, and Kristolyn Lloyd as Rhonda. Directed by Brandon Espy, who also co-wrote the script with Carl Reid, Mr. Crocket is based on Espy’s 2022 short film of the same name, which was part of Hulu’s Bite Size Halloween series.
