Evil Dead Burn Trailer Turns a Family Reunion Into Deadite Carnage
The official trailer for Evil Dead Burn has arrived, bringing the long-running horror franchise back with another blood-soaked chapter of demonic mayhem. Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, the new film follows the franchise’s recent standalone approach while keeping its focus on possession, Deadites and escalating household terror.
The trailer teases a grim family gathering that quickly spirals into chaos, with the film’s story centered on a woman who seeks comfort with her in-laws after the loss of her husband. Once family members begin transforming into Deadites, the reunion becomes a fight for survival inside a secluded home.
Evil Dead Burn Official Cast and Theatrical Release Date
Evil Dead Burn stars Souheila Yacoub, Luciane Buchanan, Hunter Doohan, Tandi Wright, Erroll Shand, Maude Davey, George Pullar and Greta Van Den Brink. Vaniček, known for Infested, directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with Florent Bernard.
The movie serves as the next theatrical installment in the Evil Dead franchise following Evil Dead Rise, which revived the series for a new generation of horror audiences in 2023 (and became the franchise’s highest grossing entry to date). Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert are among the producers here, keeping the new film tied to the creative lineage of the original series. And as of now, there’s also Evil Dead Wrath on the docket for 2028, so there’s still plenty more franchise carnage to come.
Evil Dead Burn opens in theaters on July 10, 2026.
