Vision Quest Receives a 2026 Release Window for Disney+

After a lengthy period of speculation about its status, Variety is now reporting that Disney+ is moving forward with the highly anticipated spinoff series of WandaVision currently labeled as Vision Quest. This series will see the return of longtime MCU staple Paul Bettany as Vision and will be helmed by showrunner Terry Matalas, known for his recent (well-received) work on Star Trek: Picard.

WandaVision: Disney/Marvel

Set to explore the aftermath of the events in the finale of WandaVision, Vision Quest is expected to delve into the emotional journey of the character based on his newfound memories of a former existence — likely aiming to retool a popular storyline from the West Coast Avengers comic book series about the iconic Avenger. While an official announcement is yet to be made confirming the buzz (via Disney/Marvel), more details on the show are anticipated to be revealed at this year's D23 Ultimate Fan Event in August.

Currently scheduled for a 2026 release on Disney+, Vision Quest will definitely act as a key addition to the roster of upcoming Marvel content, aligning with Marvel series like Iron Heart, or the already completed Wonder Man.

With Agatha All Along and Vision Quest coming soon — it’s clearly a great time to be a WandaVision fan.
