LE SSERAFIM Set May Return With New Album PUREFLOW Pt.1

LE SSERAFIM is officially entering a new era. It’s now been confirmed that the five-member girl group will release their second studio album, PUREFLOW pt.1, on May 22, with lead single “CELEBRATION” arriving first on April 24.

The project marks a new chapter for KIM CHAEWON, SAKURA, HUH YUNJIN, KAZUHA, and HONG EUNCHAE, whose global profile has continued to grow over the past year. This time, that evolution appears to be reflected directly in the album’s concept. PUREFLOW pt.1 is said to explore the changes that come with recognizing fear and choosing to face it, offering a fresh perspective on the group’s long-running ideas around fearlessness.

That thematic shift is already taking shape in the project’s first visual teaser. The newly released logo motion video unfolds against a soft blue backdrop and airy soundscape, introducing the phrase, “FOR WE ARE NOT FEARLESS, AND THEREFORE POWERFUL.” From there, “POWERFUL” transforms into “PUREFLOW,” extending the wordplay that has become central to LE SSERAFIM’s artistic identity. Since the group’s name itself is tied to “I’m Fearless,” the new album title feels like a deliberate continuation of that narrative, while also hinting at a new direction.

A New Chapter for LE SSERAFIM

The comeback arrives seven months after SPAGHETTI, a release that marked another major step for the group. Although its title track, “SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS),” drew mixed reactions online over its stylistic shift, it still became LE SSERAFIM’s highest-charting Billboard Hot 100 entry to date, peaking at No. 50. The project also secured their first Top 10 placement on the Billboard Global 200 and reinforced their presence across major international charts.

Now, attention turns to “CELEBRATION,” which has been described as a pulse-driven, uplifting track about discovering the inner strength to face change. For a group that has consistently shaped each release around a clear sense of identity, the single looks positioned to introduce the emotional and thematic direction of this new era.
