Elliot James Reay Drops the Delightfully Nostalgic Single "Daydreaming"

Elliot James Reay, the 23-year-old British crooner from Manchester, has dropped his latest single, “Daydreaming,” today, March 28, 2025, via Interscope Records.

Known for his Elvis-esque vocals and ‘50s aesthetic flair, Reay’s third infectious release blends shimmering electric guitar, strings, brass, and even birds chirping to accommodate its love-stricken energy. Teaming up again with Manchester’s SOAP (Josh Noble and Karl Ziegler) and co-writers Annielle Lisiuk and Theo Hutchcraft, he effectively delivers a track that taps into the marvels of music from decades prior and a modern soulful touch, matching his growing artistry.

“Daydreaming” also builds on the success of his 2024 debut single, which hit #14 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50, and its follow-up, showcasing Reay’s knack for pairing retro charm with fresh twists. Now, with a voice that feels timeless and a style that’s unmistakably his own, Reay is continuing his quest to redefine nostalgia for 2025.
