Terrifier 3 Trailer Previews a Gruesome Holiday Season

The latest trailer for Terrifier 3 teases a holiday season far from jolly, as Sienna Shaw and her brother Jonathan find themselves once again in the crosshairs of Art the Clown — again.

Set several years after the traumatic events of Terrifier 2, the duo now deservedly hopes for a peaceful Christmas, but their dreams are instantly shattered when Art, this time donning a Santa Claus costume, comes to town to kickstart another bloodbath.

From what’s shown in the trailer, Art the Clown, played by David Howard Thornton, continues to embody a terrifying mix of festive spirit and brutal violence, promising that terror lurks behind every corner. The film sees the return of familiar faces, including Sienna (Lauren LaVera) and Jonathan (Elliot Fullam), alongside Samantha Scaffidi as Victoria Heyes and Chris Jericho as Burke, with a selection of new cast members that includes notable actors like Tom Savini and Jason Patric.

The first Terrifier film was shot on a modest budget and based on a short from the film All Hallow’s Eve, which found unexpected success and paved the way for the franchise’s eventual growth. Its sequel later became a major indie box office hit, (partially due to its viral response from moviegoers) showcasing the devoted fanbase that Terrifier has developed over the years.

Terrifier 3 (helmed by franchise creator Damien Leone) is officially set to hit theaters on October 11, 2024, ensuring that horror enthusiasts are in for a chilling cinematic experience this fall. After it runs in theaters, audiences can look forward to watching the film through various platforms, including the Screambox streaming service.
