Sony’s Until Dawn Movie Receives Several Key Cast Members
Sony’s Screen Gems and PlayStation Studios have collaborated to bring Supermassive Games’ popular horror video game Until Dawn to life on the big screen. And yes, we’re fully on board with this one.
As initially confirmed by Deadline, the first four principal actors set to star in the Until Dawn film have been revealed, including names like Ella Rubin, Odessa A’zion, Ji-young Yoo, and Michael Cimino in undisclosed roles.
PlayStation’s Asad Qizilbash expressed his enthusiasm for the project in a statement provided to the outlet, stating, “At PlayStation Productions, we are always looking to find creative and authentic ways to adapt our beloved games that our fans will enjoy. Alongside Screen Gems, we’ve assembled a fantastic cast of new characters that builds upon our already stellar filmmaking team and their vision for the adaptation. We’re excited to reveal more about the movie soon.”
Director David F. Sandberg, known for his work on horror hits like Lights Out, Annabelle: Creation, and the polarizing Shazam! movies from the DC Cinematic Universe is currently at the helm of the Until Dawn adaptation — with the film’s screenplay currently being penned by Gary Dauberman, stepping in for former scribe Blair Butler.
