Evil Dead Burn Gets Its First Teaser and a New Summer 2026 Release Date

Evil Dead Burn has officially given audiences a bloody sneak peek ahead of its summer release. After making waves at CinemaCon, Warner Bros. has finally released the film’s first date announcement teaser, confirming that the next chapter in the Evil Dead franchise will now open in theaters on July 10, 2026, moving up from its previously announced July 24 date. The teaser is brief and brutal (and a full trailer is still to come), but it already gives the film a clear identity: frantic, blood-soaked, and fully committed to the kind of Deadite chaos fans expect from this series.

According to the official synopsis, the story follows a woman who retreats to her in-laws’ secluded home after losing her husband, only for the gathering to spiral into a nightmare once the family is transformed into Deadites one by one. It is a strong hook for an Evil Dead movie because it keeps the horror intimate while still leaving plenty of room for the franchise’s usual carnage. The teaser itself reflects that immediately, dropping viewers into a house already in collapse as bodies are hurled, a terrified woman crawls for cover, and the danger feels close from the first frame.

Directed by Infested filmmaker Sébastien Vaniček, Evil Dead Burn stars Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Tandi Wright, and George Pullar. With its first footage now online and its release date locked, the film is starting to take shape as a savage new entry for the franchise, one specifically built around family horror, relentless movement, and the kind of pressure-cooker violence that has kept Evil Dead alive for decades.
