Victor Perez, or Vyperr to his millions of fans, is a creative chameleon whose work spans social media, music, and on-screen. His club anthems electrify dance floors, his introspective tracks reveal a poet’s heart, and his early acting roles have already stirred excitement—so, with a digital following that tracks his every step, Perez is now gearing up for a defining year, blending new music that moves masses with a deeper dive into acting.
At the heart of his artistry is a vibrant, almost cinematic perspective on the world. "I'm super driven by everything visual," he says, a sentiment that has shaped his creative journey from the very start. This spark first ignited during his early days on social media, where he found his voice through music. "Ever since I was young, music has been a huge part of who I am and how I express myself. I always connect it to moments and visuals in my mind," he explains.
For Perez, the contrasting elements of sound and sight merge effortlessly, each fueling the other to craft art that hits deep. This isn’t just style—it’s how he makes sense of existence, turning fleeting moments into something tangible. That same hunger for expression trickles into his music, where he dances across emotions with ease.
“I love trying new things and getting into different moods,” he says, his energy infectious. “Whether it’s sad, happy, or anything in between, it’s just natural for me to explore those emotional shifts.” His songs capture this range, moving from pulse-pounding beats to quiet, soul-baring melodies. Each track feels like a Polaroid of a moment, made universal through his lens.

Perez is now pouring that curiosity into acting, a craft he’s just beginning to pursue but already cherishes. “I haven’t had the chance to explore too much yet since I’m just starting out,” he admits, “but I absolutely love it.” His knack for visuals guides him here, turning scripts into vivid, immersive performances. Acting also opens a new door for storytelling, letting him stretch beyond the bandwidth of his music. It’s a path he’s eager to walk, chasing the same human truths that drive his songs.
Through it all, his work always remains deeply personal, mined from life’s highs and lows. “I’ve always tried to be myself and mostly talk about my own experiences,” he notes, “especially past relationships and heartbreak. That’s usually what gets me started creatively.” These raw fragments—love, loss, longing—form the pulse of his lyrics, turning private pain into songs that resonate widely.
In music, he’s refined this over the years, each project sharper than the last. On the other hand, acting is still fresh terrain, with a cameo in Netflix’s La Reina del Flow and a key role in You Are Nothing Special to his name. Still, he’s hungry for more.
Up to this point in his career, his tattooed exterior has often defined the characters he’s presented with. “You know, I’m covered in tattoos,” he says, “and that kind of limits me to very specific roles.” Directors cast him as the “bad guy” or “jerk,” leaning into his rugged edge. It’s a stereotype he’s happy to play with—for now—but his ambitions stretch far beyond it.
“I’d really love to do something different too,” he muses, “maybe something romantic with a bit of action in it.” Blending tenderness with grit excites him, a chance to flip expectations and show new shades of his talent. Music lets him roam freely across genres; so naturally, he hopes acting will one day offer that same expanse—a space where his creativity can flourish.

Storytelling further binds his artistic pursuits, whether it’s a lyric, a post, or a scene. “What draws me in [with art] is always emotion,” he says. “If I can feel something, I know I can turn it into something real, whether it’s through lyrics, visuals, or acting.” Honest, unguarded stories pull him in most. “I connect a lot with personal stories or anything that feels raw and honest,” he shares.
When that fire catches, he lets instinct take over, molding each piece into something true. The result cuts through the clutter, inviting others to share in the feeling. Aesthetics amplify this truth, doubling as both shield and spark. “[The combination of] visuals and fashion have always helped me express who I am,” Perez says, and his work proves it. His music videos explode with color, crisp cuts, and his own sense of style that feels laid-back yet precise, like a glimpse into his mind.
And, in terms of acting, costumes essentially link him to a character. “In both [of my current roles], the styling really helped me feel the part and understand how the character moves, thinks, and presents himself,” he explains.
That link deepened in March, when Perez walked the runway for Dsquared’s 30th anniversary show at Milan Fashion Week, a plunge into the unknown. “I really had to push myself to get into character,” he recalls.
“Walking a runway is something I’ve never done before, so it was a new experience.” Opportunities to team up with giants like YSL and Dsquared does more than pad his resume—it also sharpens him. “These kinds of collaborations definitely influence me,” he says, “because they challenge me to step out of my comfort zone and bring a new level of confidence.”
Still, even when facing brief instances of anxiety, Perez glides between these worlds—music, acting, fashion—with a fluidity. “I get into character pretty easily; I think it’s a gift,” he reveals. “I can quickly tap into the right mood and mindset. It’s all about feeling the energy of the moment, and once I’m in that zone, everything flows naturally.” His creativity hums with this cross-pollination, every medium enhancing the others.
Outside of his artistry, Perez seeks quieter spaces to breathe and reflect. “I read a lot of books about self-expression, personal growth, and things like that,” he shares. “Reading really helps me focus.” He’s also fallen hard for tennis, a newfound passion that’s become a lifeline. “I’ve become a big fan,” he says, “and it’s been a great way to clear my mind and stay inspired.” These necessary pauses recharge his relentless drive, sharpening his vision for what’s ahead.
Just last year, Perez made the conscious effort to dive headfirst into music, sidelining acting to calibrate his sound. “I went all in with my new music project,” he says, “letting go of some castings and shows I could have been involved in.” Still, the efforts paid off, yielding songs he holds dear—work that’s deepened his bond with listeners.

With each of these projects having been released throughout 2024, he’s now shifting his focus back to film and television, where ambition and humility push him to seize every opportunity he’s given. “This year, I want to return to acting while still exploring my music side,” he confidently says. “I know it’s a big privilege to be able to tap into different careers, and I want people to know that I know how lucky I am.”
When teasing what’s still to come in 2025, Perez remains guarded, but extremely eager to share details about his next chapter with the world. “There are a couple of big projects coming,” he admits, “I think people are going to love them.”
Fortunately, regardless of what he has up his sleeve, Victor Perez has already cemented his legacy as an artist in perpetual motion, chasing stories that inspire and endure. His journey—woven from instinct and authenticity—is sure to keep us hooked, one project at a time.
