Marvel Studios Unveils Exciting 2025 Lineup: Daredevil, Ironheart, and Wonder Man
Marvel Studios has once again captured the imagination of fans worldwide with its latest announcement of upcoming projects for 2025 — tapping into the limitless potential of several new heavy-hitters. Here’s what’s in store!
Daredevil: Born Again
After being toted as one of Marvel’s most-anticipated series, Daredevil: Born Again is finally set to premiere on March 4, 2025. The series will see the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, reprising their iconic roles from the beloved Netflix series. Fans can also look forward to the return of Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Wilson Bethel as Dex Poindexter, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher. Now, we just need to wait a little longer and hope that Jessica Jones gets the same opportunity.
Ironheart
In June 2025, Ironheart will debut, starring Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams/Ironheart. Thorne first introduced her character in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and will continue to showcase Riri's journey as an MIT student who develops an armored suit similar to Tony Stark's Iron Man. But of course — not the high-tech version she borrowed from Wakanda. Ironheart will also feature an ensemble cast that includes Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, and Manny Montana. Bring on Riri’s solo story!
Wonder Man
The final live-action series of 2025, Wonder Man, will stream in December. Created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, the series stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, an actor who gains superpowers and becomes Wonder Man (just like his comic book origins). Ben Kingsley will reprise his role as Marvel’s Trevor Slattery, and the cast will also include Demetrius Grosse, Lauren Glazier, Josh Gad, Bryon Bowers, and Ed Harris. There’s plenty of speculating we could do about the introduction of the popular character given his comic book storylines, but we’ll just keep those on the back burner until we know more.
Marvel Animation
Marvel's 2025 lineup doesn't stop with live-action series. The studio also announced several animated series, including What If...? Season 3 (dropping on December 22, 2024), Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (January 29, 2025), Eyes of Wakanda (August 6, 2025), and the gruesome new title Marvel Zombies (just in time for Halloween, in October 2025).
