Lisa Returns with the Edgy New Track “Rockstar”

LISA, the multi-talented artist from the globally beloved K-pop group BLACKPINK, has officially dropped her latest solo single, "Rockstar," acting as a gritty club track that’s intended to showcase a fusion of early 2000s J hip-hop and modern R&B/hip-hop influences.

LISA | LLOUD Co. and RCA Records

Produced by San Homaee and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, the song highlights LISA’s refreshed ambitions as a soloist as she effortlessly switches between singing and rapping, delivering her recognizable sense of confidence.

Under the new partnership between LISA's management company LLOUD Co. and RCA Records, "Rockstar" marks her debut solo single, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter in her career. The accompanying music video, shot in Bangkok and directed by Henry Schofield, pays homage to LISA’s Thai roots and features choreography by Sean Bankhead.

And at the very least, this relentlessly addictive release comes as a breath of fresh air for LISA’s fans, offering a glimpse into her evolving artistry outside of BLACKPINK and her former label. Check out the music video for “Rockstar” below.
