Kylie Jenner Cuts Her First Verse as King Kylie on "Fourth Strike"

Kylie Jenner is officially making room on the resume for “artist.” Reviving her mid-2010s alter ego “King Kylie,” the cosmetic brand mogul appears on Terror Jr’s new single “Fourth Strike,” a sleek, electro-pop sequel to the duo’s 2016 viral cut “3 Strikes,” which once soundtracked a Kylie Cosmetics campaign and sparked rumors she was secretly their vocalist.

This time around, there’s no guessing game: Jenner takes a late-song verse in her lower register, leaning into a playful, slightly menacing cadence while Terror Jr handles the setup. As her first big music move, “Fourth Strike” is also light on exposition and heavy on vibe—bright synths, a pushy rhythm bed, and a hook built for the moment.

The track first premiered the night of Oct. 13 on YouTube, arriving alongside a fresh wave of buzz and an official King Kylie Spotify page (teasing even more drops to come). The timing also carefully syncs with a full-scale nostalgia play across her beauty empire. Jenner has already been teasing a King Kylie makeup drop—teal-tipped hair, throwback graphics, the whole 2014 mood—which finally rolls out Oct. 18 and frames the song as part of a wider brand revival.

So, if the King Kylie era is back to stay, expect more features first (low-risk reps to define a lane) before a solo single under the moniker. But, for now, “Fourth Strike” declares that the widely recognized brand architect wants in on music, too.
