ifeye’s ‘As if’ Marks a Polished Pop Return
ifeye, the six-member girl group under Hi-Hat Entertainment, returned on April 15, 2026 with their third EP, As if, marking the group’s first comeback in roughly nine months after 2025’s sweet tang. The release also continues the group’s fast-building catalog following the well-received April 2025 debut EP, ERLU BLUE.
Led by the title track “Hazy (Daisy),” As if settles into a fast-moving but airy pop sound that feels light on its feet without losing shape. There is a softness to the EP’s overall charismatic pop presentation, but it still carries enough rhythmic energy to keep the material from feeling too slight.
Across its five tracks, As if feels less focused on dramatic reinvention than on refining and, in some moments, expanding what ifeye has already been building throughout its buzzworthy rookie era. That makes the EP feel especially notable, arriving after a run of strong early moments that has already given the group a promising foundation.
By the time this latest EP comes to an end, it gives the members room to come across with a little more ease and artistic clarity too, reinforcing the group’s identity rather than stretching it in too many directions at once. Fortunately, while Sasha remains on hiatus, members Won Hwayeon, Taerin, Rahee, Kasia, and Meu are able to carry As if with a polished sense of confidence as the group moves toward the day it can reunite for a full comeback.
