HEESEUNG Begins Solo Chapter as EVAN

HEESEUNG’s solo era now has a name and a clearer sense of direction. On April 8, the artist officially introduced EVAN through newly launched social media channels and a first set of profile images, giving public shape to the next chapter of his career less than a month after BELIFT LAB confirmed he would continue under the label as a solo artist and prepare a solo album.

BELIFT LAB

One aspect of what makes the rollout particularly effective for fans is its restraint. The first images under his EVAN label lean into a pared-down presentation, with minimalistic styling and detailing that keeps the focus on presence rather than spectacle. It’s also a strong way to introduce EVAN, presenting a more personal angle on an artist who already participated in a group with a clear musical identity.

A new name and a more personal introduction

This launch is doing more than introducing a new name too. In an official statement, the artist revealed that EVAN is tied closely to HEESEUNG’s own history and sense of self, connecting this solo move to memory, self-definition, and a version of his artistry that feels closer to the source.

There is already enough history behind him to make that shift feel substantial. HEESEUNG debuted with ENHYPEN in 2020 and became known as one of the group’s standout performers, while also building a reputation for songwriting and production through credits including “Highway 1009” and “Dial Tragedy.” With EVAN, that side of his artistry officially moves closer to the center.

Sure, for fans, the name EVAN is the immediate headline—but the more compelling part will be what follows.
