KATSEYE Reveals an Exhilerating Debut EP
After an extensive talent search and nerve-wracking lineup reveal, KATSEYE, an innovative global girl group from HYBE and Geffen Records, has dropped their debut EP, titled SIS (Soft Is Strong) —promoting softness as strength while celebrating the bond of sisterhood that unites its members.
KATSEYE comprises six distinctive artists: Daniela, Lara, and Megan, all from the United States; Manon representing Switzerland; Sophia from the Philippines; and Yoonchae hailing from South Korea. Together, they embody a rich combination of backgrounds that gives the group a unique dynamic in today’s pop music space.
Musically, the EP features five tracks, highlighting KATSEYE's range and emotional depth. The ethereal single "Touch," crafted by a stellar team including Blake Slatkin and Cashmere Cat, dives into themes of love, vulnerability, and self-rediscovery. Meanwhile, “My Way,” a poignant piano ballad, reflects the genuine stories of the members, showcasing their shared tenacity as a fresh group.
