Jenevieve Expands Her CRYSALIS Era With “Hvnly” Featuring TWICE’s JIHYO
Jenevieve is adding a new glow to her CRYSALIS era. The Los Angeles-based artist has just released CRYSALIS (CODA), the deluxe edition of her sophomore album, alongside the new single “Hvnly,” a reimagined version of “Hvn High” featuring JIHYO from TWICE.
The track arrives with an official visual and revisits one of CRYSALIS’ standout moments with new energy. With JIHYO joining the song, “Hvnly” expands the world Jenevieve has been building across the album, pairing her smooth, genre-blurring R&B style with a new vocal presence that brings added brightness and dimension to the track.
The deluxe album also includes the previously released “Waiting Room” featuring Jordan Ward and “Flight Risqué” featuring Freddie Gibbs and SALIMATA, as well as collaborations with Tkay Maidza and Lous and The Yakuza. Across its expanded tracklist, CRYSALIS (CODA) reflects the range that has become central to Jenevieve’s sound, moving through R&B, soul, pop, and more experimental textures without losing the warmth and groove that first helped put her on the map.
The release comes during a major moment for Jenevieve, who recently wrapped a sold-out European run of The CRYSALIS Tour – Worldwide, with stops in Paris, London, and Amsterdam. The tour resumes May 14 with dates across Asia, including Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, and Manila. She is also set to close out the run with her first headline dates in Australia and New Zealand. The CRYSALIS era has already marked a breakthrough chapter for the South Florida-raised artist, too. Her single “Head Over Heels” reached No. 1 at R&B radio, becoming her first chart-topping record, while also landing in the Top 5 on Adult R&B Airplay.
For listeners who first discovered Jenevieve through “Baby Powder,” which has surpassed 175 million global streams, CRYSALIS (CODA) offers a broader look at where her artistry is headed. And with “Hvnly,” she’s turning a fan-favorite album cut into a sleek, cross-cultural collaboration that feels built for the next stretch of her global rise.
