The chilling legacy of the Final Destination is set to continue with the upcoming release of Final Destination Bloodlines. And after a lengthy wait, we finally have our first look at the sixth chapter of this classic horror franchise.

The official teaser trailer, which just premiered this week, offers our first glimpse into the familiar Final Destination world—where typically, a group of individuals narrowly escape a catastrophic event, only to find themselves hunted by Death itself. However, this time around, the trailer avoids revealing any specific plot details, focusing instead on showcasing the inventive and terrifying death sequences the franchise is known for. Notably, a character getting a septum piercing at a tattoo parlor where things go horribly wrong.

Final Destination Bloodlines is directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, with a script penned by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor. The film’s ensemble cast includes Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and the late horror genre legend Tony Todd.

The Warner Bros. film Final Destination Bloodlines arrives in theaters on May 16, 2025.
