With the premiere of Dragon Ball Daima just around the corner, fans have finally received a brand-new trailer previewing what’s to come by showcasing some stellar voice acting and tantalizing glimpses of the series’ visuals and plot. Here’s what we’ve learned!

Super Saiyan Reveals
The newest trailer for Dragon Ball Daima is the most revealing yet, offering significant insights into the series’ premise and the power levels of its characters. While previous trailers hinted at a reduction in power due to the characters’ shrunken forms, the latest footage confirms that Goku can still achieve his Super Saiyan form, suggesting that the combat intensity will remain high, much to the delight of fans.
However, the size switch-up combat scenes suggest a more grounded approach, possibly indicating that their “Mini” forms might limit the duration of their full power usage. Or perhaps they’ll just be stronger from sheer speed — who really knows! This new plot point has the potential to maintain the series’ signature combat style while introducing new dynamics to the battles.
Exploring the Demon Realm
Another significant reveal is the setting of Dragon Ball Daima. Contrary to earlier assumptions that the story would take place in an alien world, the trailer confirms that the series is set in the briefly addressed Demon Realm.
Though, this marks the first time the Demon Realm will be explored in a canon Dragon Ball series, adding a fresh and exciting dimension to the story. And much to our excitement, the teased connection to the Majin Buu saga hinted at through various elements, could add a new layer of depth to the series’ lore.
Coming in October
With Dragon Ball Daima set to premiere on October 11, the excitement among fans is certainly gaining momentum. And considering that it’s from the mind of the late manga legend Akira Toriyama, we just know that the series promises to deliver thrilling adventures, intense battles, and a deeper exploration of the Dragon Ball universe when it airs this fall.
