Through this editorial, we recognized the common elements in our constant “thoughts on creativity” and launched a project to bring them to life with “i-magine.”
It is challenging to bring out the ideal visions we always have in our minds, but by sharing them with others, we can join forces to make them a reality. This project unites each individual’s creativity to summon it into the real world, resulting in “i-magine.”
“i-magine” is a coined word, signifying the process of separating “imagine”, which exists only in the mind, from “i”, or oneself, to create “magime.” In this context, “magine” refers to a magical entity in Japanese, known as “マジン (Majin)”—a being with mystical powers.
